He spent his days caring for his planet, pulling out baobab saplings that could split it in pieces, and he would water his rose every evening, protecting it from the cold with a glass globe. The little prince loved his rose, but sometimes he wondered if she realized the efforts he made for her. Once, he heard her say, 'I am afraid of the tigers!' although there were no tigers on their planet.
